Our Impact

As a family, along with our family of volunteers, we’ve gained great comfort and pride in knowing we are carrying on Gavin’s dream. Together we fundraise, support others in their fundraising efforts, and educate and promote the K9 handler profession. Gavin’s family covers most of the operating expenses, and there is no financial compensation for BOD members or volunteers. Which means almost all the monies donated go directly to supporting what the K9’s need to be protected in the line of duty.

Years Serving the K9 law enforcement profession

The foundation was launched in October of 2015 and we’ve worked tirelessly as a family with an incredible and ever increasing volunteer community to raise funds. We host incredibly fun events which are family friendly and serve the local K9 law enforcement communities.

When we launched Gav’s Foundation we thought ‘wouldn’t it be great if we could donate 1 or 2 vests a year!’ Then we did this…raised over 180K to support K9’s, their handlers, and build a legacy for Gavin. It is an incredible ride and it continues… we cannot wait for the day that Gavin’s name is known nationwide!
