So incredibly happy and blessed to team up with these amazing little girls to provide so much needed new vests for VacavillePD. So proud of these young ladies!! #k9vests #k9protection #vacavillepd ...................repost..... What better way to welcome in the warm weather than with a nice chilled glass of lemonade? If you were fortunate enough to swing by this adorable stand, the lemonade and baked treats weren't the only sweet things there to greet you. Madison (8) and Sophia (6) welcomed everyone that dropped in with a huge smile and a noble goal of raising money for the Vacaville Police K9 Unit. Their aim? A ballistic vest for one of our own four legged crime fighters. The girls teamed up with the Gavin Buchanan Foundation, an incredible organization dedicated to supporting police working dogs, to make their goal a reality. Thrilled by the generosity of Madison and Sophia, Officer Riddle stopped by with his new partner, K9 Baxter. The newbie pup was sure to show his appreciation for all the girls' hard work, that is, in between belly rubs. Sophia and Madison are not only making their mark on our K-9 unit, but our community as well. These two selfless girls are also "Junior Guardians" with Pink Heals, a non profit that helps raise money for those fighting cancer. Sophia and Madison are shining examples of the goodness in humanity and an inspiration for all. Keep up the great work you two...you truly make a difference.
